ANSON COUNTY JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE: HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER

Anson County, located 50 miles southeast of Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager.

The successful candidate will demonstrate considerable knowledge of the theory, principles and practices of personnel administration, including considerable knowledge of the laws, rules and regulations that apply to personnel policies and practices in the public and private sector. The successful candidate will also demonstrate the ability to establish and maintain an effective central human resources program and to provide management with costs projections, statistical trends and personnel accomplishments. The ideal candidate will be a graduate of a four year college or university with a Bachelor's degree in personnel, business or related human service field and several years of progressively responsible experience in human resources management, preferably including some supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary Range: Grade 75: Salary of $42,646 to $66,101 per year, depending upon qualifications . This is a top level County government management position requiring Anson County residency.
